Medicinal sweet clover

Description: biennial herbaceous plant. Stem ascending or erect, branched at the base, 50–200 cm high. The leaves are alternate and ternate. The flowers are collected in elongated, curvaceous inflorescences in the axils of the upper leaves. Corolla yellow of 5 different petals.

Raw materials: dried tops of the stems with leaves and flowers. When collecting, cut off the flowering tops and bundle them to dry.

Main action: pain killer.

Method of application: for the preparation of hot infusion take 2 tsp. crushed raw materials and pour 2 cups of boiling water. After 2-3 hours, filter and drink in one day in small portions.

For external use (compresses, washing) use an infusion of 2 tbsp. l raw materials for 0.5 liters of boiling water, which is kept in a closed vessel for 20 minutes. Apply cooled infusion.

Medicinal

Description: biennial herbaceous plant with radish massive rhizome. Stem erect, tubular, green, purple at the bottom, branched at the top. Plant height reaches 150 cm. Leaves twice – triply plumose. A complex umbrella at the top of the stem with small flowers of a greenish yellow or greenish white color. It blooms in June – August.

Raw materials: roots. Main action: sedative, antispasmodic, stimulating
 digestion.

The calming effect is due to the content of valeric acid in it. The anesthetic has not only calming, but also stimulating digestion, antispasmodic effect at the expense of other components.

Method of application: 30 g of crushed root pour 500 mg of white wine and insist for a day, often shaking. Strain and take half the wine glasses 2 times a day.
